Privacy
Aperlo Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Aperlo for macOS and its optional support paths. The developer is Jamin Zhou.
Aperlo processes images on your Mac. It does not upload your images, filenames, file paths, or browsing history, and includes no advertising or analytics SDK. Preferences and recent-file access bookmarks stay on your Mac; you can clear recent items from File → Open Recent.
Optional purchases are handled by Apple. Aperlo checks verified StoreKit transactions to show your supporter badge; we do not receive payment-card details. Viewing features remain free.
Feedback is optional. Opening the Tally form sends app/build/macOS versions and app language to Tally. If you submit, Jamin Zhou receives your message and optional email. Tally processes technical request data under its own policy. Email feedback opens an editable draft with the same context; you choose whether to send it through your email provider.
Feedback is used only to handle your support request. Original email and Tally messages are deleted after a reply; anonymous messages are read and deleted. No copies or summaries are retained, and feedback is not used for analytics or marketing or linked with other data. Third-party providers apply their own retention policies. Contact me@jaminzhou.com to request deletion. No images or logs are attached automatically.
External services and this website
Apple handles App Store payments and accounts under its own policy. Tally hosts optional feedback and may process technical request data. Your browser and email provider have their own privacy practices. This static site is hosted by GitHub Pages and includes no analytics script; the host may process technical access logs.
